Intimate Bridges partners meet in Brescia

From 19 to 21 November, it was held in Brescia, Italy, the kick-off meeting of the European project “Intimate Bridges” which advocates performing art as driver for social change and community development.
Thanks to an innovative use of participatory performing art which entails the concepts of co-creation and intimacy, the project aims at bringing local EU, migrants and culture operators closer together, directly engaging people and communities in experiencing, enjoying, and performing arts and culture.
The project is made of several multidisciplinary artistic workshops and participatory performing arts with migrants and non-migrants in each country. At the end of the project a free and downloadable booklet will be presented and a platform of participatory performing art will be launched.
The project is co-funded by the European Comission and is developed by Residenza I.dra (Italy), Caritas der Erzdiözese Wien (Wien), Entropia (Greece), Associação Renovar a Mouraria (Portugal), and Prospettive Teatrali (Italy).
