A new strategy for the workshops done under the scope of Batucaria Orchestra have been set due to COVID-19, and since March 28th, Renovar a Mouraria is implementing its workshops online.
With Frederico Furtado, Carla Costa and occasionally Nuno Cintrão, the workshops will now happen weekly, every Saturday, during April, via encounters on zoom to explore old and new rhythms, body movement and percussion, voice and lyrics. Between workshops participants are delivered a challenge to work on.
Despite the different setting, Batucaria Orchestra keeps being a space of gathering and sharing of cultures and traditions where everyone is welcomed.
